We’ve got plans for some upcoming studies. Soon we hope to look at:

  • How dignity is defined and experienced all across the world – with parallel studies in India, Latin America, Francophone Africa, China, and the Middle East
  • The messages that prompt people to be interested in dignity as a topic
  • What Ugandan children think about dignity and respect
  • The correlates of dignity in a wider range of African countries
  • Continuing to develop measures of respectfulness in development
  • A research report drawing all these strands together

What research questions would you like to see us address? We’d love to hear from you.

Using Evan Lieberman’s description of the research process, we think some of the most pressing work to be done is in the area of measurement and description – but we love experiments too!
